Welcome to RoCode. These terms govern your use of the RoCode website (rocode.org), the RoCode desktop app, and the AI assistant we run on your behalf. By creating an account or installing the app you agree to them.
1. Who we are
RoCode is operated by an independent developer (currently a single-person company) headquartered in the United States. We are not affiliated with Roblox Corporation. "RoCode", "we", "us", and "our" refer to that operator.
2. Your account
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account, or older if your local law requires it. You're responsible for keeping your password and any 2FA secrets safe — anything done from your account is treated as authorized by you.
3. Credits and payments
AI usage in RoCode runs on a pre-paid credit balance. Credits expire 9 months after purchase. We add a flat 1.5% processing fee on top of the credit amount (shown as a separate line at checkout). Refunds are available within 14 days of purchase if you've used 1 credit or less from that purchase — see the Refund Policy for details.
4. What you can do with the app
Use it to build things on Roblox, learn, prototype, or just play around. Don't try to break it, scrape it at scale, resell access, or use it to harm other people. The full list of off-limits behavior is in our Acceptable Use Policy.
5. Your content stays yours
Code you write, projects you create, and conversations you have with the AI belong to you. You grant us the minimum license needed to store, sync, and process them on your behalf. We don't train AI models on your content. If you delete your account we delete (or crypto-shred) the content within 30 days.
6. The AI is a tool, not an employee
AI-generated code may contain bugs, security holes, or incorrect information. You're responsible for reviewing it before shipping it to anything important. We don't warrant any specific outcome from using the assistant.
7. Service changes
We may add features, change pricing for new purchases, or discontinue features. If a change is material we'll give at least 30 days notice via email. If we shut down RoCode entirely we'll refund unused credits and provide an export of your projects.
8. Termination
You can delete your account at any time from Account Settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms; we'll refund unused credits unless the violation involves fraud or chargeback abuse.
9. Disclaimers and limits
RoCode is provided as-is. To the maximum extent the law allows, our liability is capped at the amount you've paid us in the prior 12 months. We're not liable for indirect or consequential damages.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes go to the state and federal courts in Harris County, Texas.
11. Changes to these terms
We'll post the new version here and bump the version number. For material changes we'll email you 30 days in advance. Continued use after a change means you accept the new terms.
